Please be aware of an email sent from the National Service Center on 3/21/17 to Unit Key 3 members regarding the new online registration system. Our council will begin accepting online applications to register new youth and adult leaders in only two weeks. To be ready to participate in the online registration system each unit needs to complete some basic steps.
Create or Update Your My.Scouting Account. Once logged in, you’ll click Menu, Legacy Web Tools, then BeAScout to access your unit’s information.
Update your “Contact Us” pin in BeAScout.org. Verify that your BeAScout pin is turned on and that the contact information is current and displays the information you want shown for your unit.

Boy Scout Golf Classic
Redden Hart Summer Camp Scholarships
As first announced at the Boy Scout Camporee, thanks to the generous support of the Honeypot Foundation, a limited number of summer camp scholarships will be made available for Boy Scouts to attend summer camp in 2017. Named in memory of long time Scoutmaster Redden Hart, these funds are intended to enable scouts that may not have the opportunity to attend summer camp to experience the adventure. The first step in the process is to submit THE APPLICATION before March 31st.
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills-IOLS

2018 Northern Tier
The South GA Council will be offering a Northern Tier Contingent! The actual dates and costs will be confirmed when travel plans can be completed, but the contingent will be at Northern Tier from June 17-24th.
